David has just completed his third job for us. He modified our dog pen, built a new decking area and today has just finished a fantastic fence on our boundary line. David built my split level decking a few weeks ago. The deck is absolutely stunning, David is very meticulous and the attention to detail was fantastic. The deck was build to cover a steep sloping back garden which we have never been able to use as a garden. There wasn't much space to work with but he came up with an innovative design and the finished result is far better than I could have imagined. ABOUT US
David Connolly is an Engineering Graduate with a passion for designing and building bespoke timber structures for domestic and commercial outdoor spaces.
David attended the University of Ulster at Jordanstown attaining a Bachelor Honours Degree in Engineering. During his time at University he worked part time as an Automotive Engineer and Landscape Gardener where he discovered his passion for building high quality decks.
After he graduated, he worked as an Engineer for companies including Wrightbus, Munster Simms and Origins Green Technologies. Having worked in the United States and other parts of the UK as a Design and Development Engineer, he realised that his dream was to become self employed where he could utilise both his creative design and practical skills in building exterior structures for recreational and aesthetic purposes.
Through his practical engineering experience and fervent attention to detail, David has successfully integrated his engineering skills into producing creative wooden structures which solve landscaping problems, create aesthetic beauty and enrich the quality of life for their owners.
David is the only decking and fencing contractor in Northern Ireland to be awarded membership of The Guild of Master Craftsmen.
